Lund Township is noted for its beautiful mix of farmland, hardwood forest, abundance of prairie potholes, and rolling glacial moraine. Notable features include Lake Christina, which is easily viewed while driving on the east and north sides, but perhaps best viewed from the hills of Seven Sisters Prairie just off Minnesota Highway 78 in adjacent Eagle Lake Township (Otter Tail County). From 190 feet above Christina, hikers enjoy the beauty of Lund Township to the south. Hikers, cyclists, and snowmobilers can also enjoy one of the prettiest stretches of Minnesota’s Central Lakes Trail, that parallels County Highway 82 from Evansville through Melby and on to Ashby in neighboring Grant County.
